Amy's story tells the delightful tale of Tinkly and Smoochy, our charming cows who discover the thrill of freedom when they find the paddock gate wide open in the middle of the night. With their newfound independence, these happy cows can milk when they choose to and mooove at their own pace!

After a successful sell-out of the first print run, Amy revamped the story in 2024 to showcase our farm's certified organic (Biogro) status.  The book is 100% NZ made and printed. Written by The Milk Barn's Amy Gemmell (Amy also teaches at Bunnythorpe School), beautifully illustrated by South Islander Rick Menard and printed in New Zealand.
